Let It Go

Let it go…

I just can’t hold it back anymore! Now you are all singing the song, and you are very, very welcome. 😉 lol

I just had to use this topic piece.   I mean she has a great point, wouldn’t you say?

Let it go.

Let what go?

Every problem, every worry, every fret, un-forgiveness, anger, hatred, jealousy, bitterness, envy and addictions…everything!

The Word teaches us in Ephesians 4:31 to let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor (to complain and demand), and evil speaking to be put away from you, with all malice (intention or desire to do evil).  Let us take a look at the NLT version, because I like how it reads: Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.

Then the Word follows in verse 32: Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Jesus Christ has forgiven you.

Let it go! It just is not worth your time and or energy to hold on to things that #1. Are things that you cannot control and #2. Wastes your valuable time.

Who cares if they don’t like the way you decorate, raise your child (as long as you aren’t harming them. Ha!), what you drive, how you dress or even how you eat your Reese’s cups! Don’t concern yourself with those that judge you for whatever reason. Forgive and let it go. Give it to God and move on with His plan for you. The devil would love nothing more than to hold you back from what God has planned out for you. And what better way to do so, than to consume you with issues that you cannot control or with situations that you need to remove yourself from. Move into the will of God and let it all go. Jesus wants you to see your worth – in HIM. You are fearfully and wonderfully made and He doesn’t want you to think anything less. So let go of self-doubt, because He will be the one to lead and guide. He equips you for what you are called to do. And let me just say; you won’t know what to do, and that IS the beauty of it. Because that is when we lean on his understanding and not our own! We allow the Holy Ghost to speak through us and in the end God receives all the glory, because it’s not by our might, but by His! Praise God people! Can I get an AMEN?! Yes! God is in control and we need to let him steer the vehicle of our lives. I mean, let’s face it….. He knows what He is doing. He sees the finish line and all the dips, bumps, storms, roadblocks, traffic jams, avalanches: EVERYTHING! All we need to do is LET GO and TRUST Him.

So with all this said – be blessed, put your tiara on and dance around the living room singing to let it go.
