Speaking and Praying Scripture – APRIL

Romans 5:8 But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 3:17^b-19 I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, ¹⁸may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, ¹⁹and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you maybe be filled with all the fullness of God.

PRAYER:

Dear God, You are a good, good Father who loves us so much. Thank you for the gift of your Son, Jesus, who died on the cross for our sins so that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is LORD and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9).

God, we lift our voices in worship to you because you are a God of love. You sent your son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and raised Him to life again so we could experience the Resurrection Hope that we have in you—freedom in heaven and on earth. I pray that you will help us be rooted and firmly established in your love. Make this love, which is longer, wider, higher, and deeper, than we could ever possibly imagine, our firm foundation. We love you, LORD. Fill us with your love so we can experience your fullness.
